TELLSI Workshops

TELLSI Workshops

The main mission of TELLSI Workshops is to help with organizing and conducting workshops geared toward the major needs of TELLSI members and other potential audiences. To identify the needs as effectively as possible, we conducted a needs analysis asking for TELLSI members’ opinions. Given the massive nature of the task at hand and the high frequency of research-related topics proposed in our brainstorming, we decided to start with workshops related to research and academic writing. Since all team members come from a TEFL background, the workshops we included in the questionnaire had an obvious second language educational orientation. Therefore, we definitely encourage members from a literature background to join in and help us think outside the box!

We are also there to provide assistance to those who would like TELLSI to promote and/or help them conduct their workshops.  What should happen is for presenters to send us an email at and we will send them a proposal form to fill out.  (If you would like TELLSI to promote your workshop, please remember to contact us with time to spare.) Obviously, this cooperation is expected to contribute to the community both academically and financially.

We look forward to hearing from you!
